Team Photo Shoot
In September, the WIRE Team had the pleasure of working with Renee Gillaspia to take some team photos. I really wanted some fun, engaging team pictures. Not just headshots, but pictures of us doing things together. You know, like pretending the work and clinking champagne flutes and so forth.
Why did I want this? Well, it sounded fun. But also, I am very aware that the way we present ourselves online has a real impact on our business. It so easy to lean so professional that your online image just gets… boring. And we have such an amazing team of women right now, that to show up as boring or dry online would really be a shame. To celebrate these women and the culture we’ve built together, I wanted some beautiful images that would do a better job of telling our story and letting people get to know us. I couldn’t be happier with how they turned out. I think Renee did an amazing job of capturing our team vibe and our individual personalities. Thanks, Renee!

Austin Market Update
Sales are down 7.99% from August 2020
This is not surprising as we broke records last year in the Real Estate Market. A decrease in sales this time of year is common and indicates we are getting back to normal seasonality in Austin.
Median Sales Price is $465,000
This is a 34.78% increase from one year ago. We saw extremely high appreciation in Austin over the last year ranging from 20-40%. Given the recent activity we are expecting appreciation to return back to normal rates. Historically in Austin you could expect to see 7-9% appreciation year over year depending on the area.
Current Active Listings: 4,255
As of September 28th, 2021, there were 4,255 properties available for sale on the MLS with an average list price of $783,838. This number has decreased from this time last year.

It was an absolute pleasure to work with clients Seth and Jen to sell their investment property in Round Rock. Isabel and Morgan were able to secure an above asking price offer and went under contract after 4 days on market. Congrats Seth and Jen!

Morgan and Cindy had so much fun working with first time homebuyers Brian and Bella. We went under contract when the market was very hot and put in a few offers before winning a bid with DR Horton. During the peak of the market new construction communities took a note from resale homes and started implementing Best and Final Deadlines. We worked with Brian and Bella to submit a competitive offer and won! Congrats Brian and Bella!

Morgan and Cindy had a lovely experience working with repeat clients Cheryl and Christopher to sell this adorable condo in Clarksville. Because of the desirable location we had a ton of interest and ultimately went under contract for above the asking price with favorable terms for our sellers. Congrats Cheryl and Christopher!

Our newest Team Agent Gabrielle, helped her buyer purchase 2.5 acres of unrestricted land in South Austin. Gabrielle used her negotiation skills to help Brad buy the property for under the asking price. Congrats Brad!

Cindy worked with repeat client Kathleen to sell this property in the sought after Agave Neighborhood. Fun fact, Isabel helped Kathleen buy the home 🙂 Cindy was able to position the home to receive multiple offers and closed for above the asking price. Congrats Kathleen!

Morgan and Cindy worked with our seller to prep the listing for success. Because of extensive property prep including updates to the front fence, roof, cabinets and repainting the entire interior this listing went to market and sparked a ton of interest.
