Hero Nation Tribe Retreat
At the end of September, Chris and I boarded our first plane since February to head to a small business retreat in Florida.
I am part of a business coaching group that I love, called Hero Nation. Once a year, we have a 2-day retreat to talk business, leadership, entrepreneurship, and how to stay sane and have a life amidst all that. What I love about this particular group is it’s not all business, all the time. They’re very much focused on the whole person, and how to build a great business that supports a great life.
I’m a huge fan of this group of humans, and if anyone is looking for business coaching, particularly in the real estate and small business space, I highly recommend Kelly, my personal coach, and Wayne, who founded the group.
Videos: Brandon T Adams Made Us Do It
Over the last 3 months, I’ve put out a lot of video content. About 4-5 videos per week, to be exact. And that’s thanks to Brandon T. Adams, who I sought out for video coaching. I’ve known for years that videos are a great way to quickly record my thoughts, create resources for clients, educate people, and just generally reach a larger audience in a very scalable way. And yet, I was never consistent. Even as I knew that a lot of my business came from videos in one way or another, I still couldn’t regularly commit time to them.
Brandon helped me do that, and also helped me just generally up my video know-how. I enjoyed my three months with him so much that I asked him if he’d do another three months of coaching, but this time with two women of WIRE. Morgan and Emily are currently going through coaching with him and I’ve loved watching the results.
One reason it was important to me to put Emily and Morgan through a coaching program with Brandon has to do with building the WIRE brand. At 27 weeks I’m VERY pregnant, and the realities of how this baby is going to change my life are sinking in more every day. I am so grateful for my team, and really focused right now on how to get out of their way, and let them shine. I don’t want to be the face of our business. I want to be part of a team of professionals who specialize in what they’re good at, and rock it. And a big part of that is making sure their faces, and voices, get the stage.
Thanks, Brandon, for helping WIRE take shape and find our voice.
Welcome Cindy Garcia to WIRE
As I talk about how important it is to me right now to build a team of rocking professionals, I’d like to welcome Cindy Garcia to the team.
Cindy signed on to WIRE in September as the head sales agent for Hypoint, a 23 unit community in East Austin that WIRE is representing. In addition to being a full-time agent, Cindy also runs a pretty sweet Instagram profile, so I’m excited to get her tips on how to build up that kind of audience.
Welcome, Cindy! We’re very excited to have you as another woman of WIRE.
Hypoint Residences by Urban ATX
While I brag on Cindy, let me also brag on my husband, Chris. What started a few years ago as a home flip or two on the side has turned into a legitimate development company, Urban ATX. They’re coming up on completion of their first large multifamily development in 2021 on Springdale. It’s called Hypoint.

Townhomes at Hypoint will be ready for move in starting January of 2021. The remainder of the units will deliver between Fall and Winter of 2021. The smaller floor plan, The Chelsea, starts from $425,000. The Ashby starts in the $600s (we won’t have any Ashby’s available until later in 2021, so pricing will probably move a bit.)
The units are not yet on MLS, but will hit MLS October the 15th. So this is an early look. We’re currently accepting reservations and will move to contracts soon. Based on early interest, I highly recommend contacting us to set a reservation appointment if these look interesting to you.
