Client party-It was awesome!
In July I threw a party in celebration of the REALTOR Magazine 30 Under 30 cover, and everyone who helped me get there by supporting my business. We had it at Full Circle Bar on the East Side, with free skee ball. It was amazingly fun to look around the room and think “Wow, I’ve gotten to work with some really quality human beings.” Thanks to everyone who came out!

I Have A Podcast!
A few weeks back I started putting out a weekly podcast. My selfish goal was “how can I get more time back in my life? I know! I’ll record myself, and then send it out into the world, so that I don’t have to answer the same questions all the time!”
So far, so good. I’ve recorded podcasts on topics like homes staging, how marriage affect real estate ownership, permitting in Austin, and more.
My most recent episode was with Billy Kopekin of PreFix. We talked about two commonly-neglected home maintenance items that lead to house fires and floods. And most of us aren’t doing them! Hear how one overlooked item set 4,000 SF of a Westlake home on fire.

We’re still in a seller’s market. Median price in June 0f 2018 was up slightly over June of 2017. Inventory is still tight, and prices are still rising.
I used to get all fancy with these market summaries, but since I still get questions from people like “Are we in a buyer’s market or a seller’s market” I’m going to simplify things a bit.
